Solano County, California

A home is more than a roof.
It's the thing that makes everything else possible.

HomeBase operates small, structured group homes for Veterans in Solano County. Every resident gets a private room, structured daily support, and a community of peers who understand what it means to serve.

Our philosophy

Small homes. Real community. Structured support.

Most veteran housing is either a clinical institution or a temporary shelter. We built something different: a home with the support structure of a program and the warmth of a real community.

Every HomeBase residence serves 4 to 8 Veterans at a time. That's small enough to know every resident's name, their story, and what they need to thrive.

How it works
01

Referral & Intake

Veterans arrive through VA referrals, HUD-VASH case managers, or county veterans services. We screen for compatibility with group living and ensure every resident has the support they need.

02

Settled In

Each resident gets a private room, household responsibilities, and a structured daily rhythm. We track VA benefits, health appointments, and personal goals — not just rent.

03

Community & Accountability

Veterans live alongside peers who understand service. Shared meals, check-in meetings, and peer accountability create something most shelters can't: a genuine community.

04

Graduation

When residents are ready for independence, we help them transition — with savings, employment connections, and a plan. We measure success by stable exits, not long-term occupancy.

What we track
4–8 residents per home

Small enough to be a real community. Large enough to be sustainable.

90+ day average stay

Long enough for real stabilization. Structured for forward progress.

HUD-VASH voucher eligible

Every resident is connected to a housing voucher pathway and VA benefits enrollment.

Veterans gave everything for this country.
The least we can do is give them a place to call home.
